- CSI's special warrants offering is over-subscribed, raising $10 million.

- CSI's Outback® S is cited by the American Society of Agriculture Engineers as an example of "outstanding innovation" that saves "producers time, costs and labour, while improving user safety."
- CSI is awarded a U.S. patent for revolutionary e-Dif software that enables standard GPS receivers to achieve one-metre accuracy without any help from third-party differential correction signals.

- Hemisphere GPS sells their Telematics and Fixed Wireless Telephone businesses and re-focuses itself as a pure-play GPS company.
