Earthworks® X200™, Hemisphere GPS' grade control guidance system, is a 2D solution which is ideal for applications such as trenching, custom profiles, digging basements, blind cuts, single/dual slopes and layering. The system ensures accurate grade control for nearly all types and sizes of excavators. When referenced to a known point, the Earthworks X200 is capable of working to accuracies of two centimeters to the bucket teeth. This information is displayed to the operator via a touch screen terminal within the cab. With real-time bucket teeth and machine position displayed to the operator, work can be completed quickly and accurately with minimal supervision. This in turn reduces the need for grade checkers and minimizes the need for staking. Productivity savings can be as high as 30 - 50% depending on the application.
