Calgary is located 80 km from the Canadian Rockies and is internationally recognized as a destination for outdoor activities. Employees from the Calgary office often spend their pastime hiking, climbing, cycling, kayaking, skiing and taking advantage of other nearby recreation. Many employees working out of Hemisphere GPS’ Calgary office choose to live in smaller suburb neighborhoods and commute into the centrally located facility. The Calgary office is the Company’s corporate headquarters and hosts a major manufacturing lab that produces a variety of Hemisphere GPS products.

Known as the “cultural cradle of Canada,” Winnipeg offers a variety of arts, culture, recreation and entertainment for everyone. The city is located at the geographic center of North America and borders Lake Winnipeg, Canada’s third largest fresh water lake. With four distinct seasons, employees from Hemisphere GPS’ Winnipeg office can ski the slopes one month and ski the lakes only a few months later. Hemisphere GPS’ Winnipeg office is the Company’s smallest location in size but one of the Company’s largest locations in scope. The office is responsible for supporting all Outback Guidance territory in Canada as well as many northern states.

With ample shopping, golfing, nightlife and beautiful weather, Hemisphere GPS’ office located in Scottsdale, Arizona sells itself. Scottsdale has a small town feel but is only minutes away from the big city. With Phoenix to the west, employees from the Scottsdale office often take advantage of nearby Diamondbacks baseball games, Cardinals football games, Suns basketball games and Coyotes hockey games. In fact, the Scottsdale office is walking distance to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies new spring training facilities. In 2009, Scottsdale was recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bicycle Friendly Community and many employees chose to cycle to work. The Scottsdale office hosts a relatively small number of employees; however, it is Hemisphere GPS’ largest engineering facility with more than three-quarters of the staff focused on engineering.

Situated in northeastern Kansas, Hiawatha is a small agricultural based community of approximately 4,000 residents. Hiawatha is the largest city in Brown County and has all the amenities you can expect in a small town. With a strong education system and modern recreation facilities, Hiawatha makes for a great place to raise a family. Since many of the employees from the Hiawatha office are directly involved in agriculture, the office works four, 10-hour days per week. This allows for employees to manage their farming and ranching commitments. Hemisphere GPS’ Hiawatha location is the origin of Outback Guidance and continues to be the Company’s main center for agriculture products.

Brisbane is a picturesque city stretching across Australia’s eastern coast. The city is quickly becoming a world-renowned business hub offering plenty of arts and culture to its visitors. Brisbane prides itself in being a “Green City” with an abundance of waterways, parks, trails and open space. Hemisphere GPS’ Brisbane office is known companywide for its relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. The office started as Hemisphere GPS’ main software engineering facility and has now grown into the Company’s Asia-Pacific distribution center.
