Michael J. Lang (Chairman) Mr. Lang is Chairman of Stonebridge Merchant Capital Corp. In addition to his roles with Hemisphere GPS, he has been a director of a number of publicly traded and private companies over the last ten years. Prior to that he was co-founder and vice chairman of Beau Canada Explorations Ltd., a publicly traded TSE 300 company which was sold in the year 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from the University of Alberta.
Barry Batcheller
Mr. Batcheller is the founder, President and CEO of Appareo Systems. Prior to this, Mr. Batcheller was the founder, President and CEO of Phoenix International Corp. Mr. Batcheller was honored as the North Dakota Business Innovator of the Year in 1994, the Fargo Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the year in 1995 and was recently named the 2006 North Dakota Entrepreneur of the Year.
Paul L. Camwell (Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee)
Mr. Camwell is Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer of Extreme Engineering Limited. A former Industrial Technical Advisor to NRC/TRLabs, he has held senior management positions in the Scientific Civil Service (U.K.), at NovAtel Communications Ltd.and at Ryan Energy Technologies Inc. Dr. Camwell is qualified as a physicist and electronic engineer. He is a Professional Engineer practicing in Alberta.
Paul G. Cataford (Chairman of Audit Committee)
Paul Cataford is President and CEO of University Technologies International Inc. He has extensive investment, technology and business development experience from more than 14 years in the venture capital/private equity industry. Mr. Cataford is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors' Directors Education Program and sits on a number of audit and corporate governance committees. He also currently serves on the boards of Sierra Wireless Inc., of SemBioSys Genetics Inc., and of a number of private companies. Mr. Cataford has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Queen's University and an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business.
John M. Tye III
Mr. Tye is the Chairman of Bigham Brothers Inc. He was formerly President and CEO of AgEquipment Group. He was also a partner in InterAg Technologies. He has extensive industry knowledge being the only individual to have served as Board Chairman of both of the major farm equipment associations - the Equipment Manufacturers Institute (major manufacturers) and the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (specialized manufacturers). In addition, Mr. Tye has served with several other organizations such as the Conservation Technology Information Center and the Southern Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Howard W. Yenke (Chairman of Compensation Commitee)
Mr. Howard Yenke is a retired executive and entrepreneur who amassed an impressive range of corporate leadership experience during a more than 40-year business career. He was CEO of Casino Data Systems; President and CEO of Silent Systems Inc.; President, CEO and Director of LANart Corporation; President and CEO of Enterprise Development Corporation; President, CEO and Director of Technology Deployment Holdings Company Inc.; President, CEO and Director of ARCO Computer Products Company; and President and CEO of Boca Research Inc. Mr. Yenke also held a variety of increasingly senior management and executive positions during 25 years with IBM Corporation.

Rick Heiniger Mr. Heiniger is Vice-Chairman of Hemisphere GPS. Previously he was President of Hemisphere GPS after CSI acquired his very successful Outback business and merged it with CSI's GPS Business Unit to create Hemisphere GPS. Mr. Heiniger has been providing stable entrepreneurial leadership for 25 years. He has a degree in Agricultural Mechanization (now called Agricultural Technologies Management) from Kansas State University, which in 1997 recognized him as an Outstanding Young Alumnus, and in 2004 awarded him Alumni Fellow recognition for outstanding professional achievement.
Steven Koles President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Hemisphere GPS in September 2006, Steve was most recently Vice President and General Manager at AOL Canada Inc. where he lead the Internet Services Business in Canada including the AOL, Netscape, and Compuserve portfolios. Prior to AOL Canada, Steve has also held executive management positions at R4 Management Group, Windypoint Capital, Group Telecom, and TELUS Corporation. In addition, he has served on boards and in advisory capacities with such organizations as Route1 Inc., the Canadian Association of Internet Providers, and WURCnet/Netera Alliance. He is a graduate from the Faculty of Management at the University of Alberta, and the Executive Management Program at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. |
